1. Create and confirm your account
Register and confirm your email address. Add a profile photo, write about yourself, and select your primary language. The language setting belongs to your account: opening someone else’s conversation should not switch your interface to their language.
2. Discover people and express interest
Use Browse to explore profiles and preferences. Open the full profile to learn more before starting a conversation. A Like expresses interest. For a call, both people need to Like each other; a one-sided Like is not a mutual Match.
3. Exchange individual messages
Open Messages and select the member you want to speak with. Your selected conversation stays selected when you refresh. AI writing suggestions are optional. Incoming text can be translated to the recipient’s chosen language when translation is available; your outgoing message remains your own original text.
4. Choose an audio or video call
After mutual Likes, open the conversation and choose Voice call or Video call. Both accounts need confirmed emails and enabled call privacy. The recipient sees an incoming call and chooses Accept or Decline. Accepting does not automatically grant access to the camera or microphone.
5. Join and manage the call
After acceptance, tap Join call and allow the browser permissions you want to use. Keep the call page open. Controls let you mute the microphone, turn the camera off, switch cameras where supported, and end the call. Use two devices when testing both sides of a call.
6. Keep your own boundaries
Call settings let you disable incoming calls from mutual Matches or block a particular member’s calls. A mutual Like is permission to offer a call, not an obligation to answer. If a call is unavailable, check mutual interest, confirmed emails, account eligibility and both people’s privacy settings.
