Individual conversations
Messages are presented in separate conversations between members. A selected conversation is remembered for the current signed-in account. Refreshing a conversation does not intentionally select a different member. Do not treat private presentation as a guarantee that a recipient cannot copy or share what they see.
Camera and microphone permissions
Voice and video calls run in the browser using LiveKit. Joining requests browser permission for the microphone and camera as needed. The controls let you mute, disable the camera or end the call. A browser call does not require you to give the other member your phone number.
Call eligibility and privacy settings
The call feature requires mutual Likes, confirmed emails, eligible accounts and enabled call privacy on both sides. You can disable incoming calls or block calls from a particular member. Call history includes recent call statuses; blocking calls should not be mistaken for a complete account-wide block.
Language and AI processing
Interface language is taken from your own profile preference. When AI message translation is available, message text is processed by the translation service to create a recipient-language version. Voice and video calls do not currently include live speech translation. AI suggestions and translations should be reviewed when accuracy matters.
Understand what you share
Profile photos, videos and profile information are intended for other members to view through discovery and profile pages. Think carefully before uploading sensitive information. Email confirmation is separate from identity verification. Review Safety and How it works for the practical limits of these features.
